Spanning multiple Chicago locations, including Lake Street in the Loop and Clinton Street in West Loop, we established a cohesive yet adaptable design framework for the growing brand Mammoth Poke.
A central feature across both restaurants is the prominent tiled poke bar, designed as both a functional workspace and a visual anchor.
Each location carries its own distinct expression within the broader system. On Clinton Street, an expansive wall of terracotta breeze blocks provides both storage and a defining architectural moment.
At the Lake Street location, a dynamic composition of two-tone green tile introduces warmth, while custom elements, including white oak millwork and repurposed rice baskets used as lighting, add texture and a sense of craft.
The interiors are grounded in a modern, earthy palette that reflects the brand’s identity, layered with durable, high-impact materials suited for the faster pace of their restaurants.
